About

I am a biophotonics researcher and Postdoctoral Associate at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT-CLN2S) in Rome, driven by the challenge of measuring the physical properties of life at the nanoscale. After earning my Ph.D. in Photonics from EPFL in 2020 and completing a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Fellowship, my research transitioned to the intersection of optics, continuum mechanics, and neurobiology. I specialize in Brillouin microscopy, bridging advanced optical instrumentation with theoretical modeling to decode the mechanical behaviors of biomolecular phase transitions.
