The CLN2S Imaging Facility includes commercial state-of-the-art instrumentation, aimed at providing a wide panorama of techniques to tackle biomedical research activities. A top-end Workstation with GPU acceleration is dedicated to image analysis. Advice and technical support is provided to help experiment design and avoid technical issues
The Flow Cytometry lab at CLN2S is equipped with two laser-based instruments which main purpose is to characterize and isolate a variety of cell population both of human and mouse origin. The technology of these machinery allows simultaneous multiparametric analysis of thousands of cells for second for rapid analysis of complex cell populations.
The activity of the Cell Culture Facility is aimed at the maintenance, manipulation, characterization and cryopreservation in liquid nitrogen of human and mouse cell lines, primary cultures and iPS cells. A flow laminar hood with a stereoscope is dedicated to cell reprogramming. Transfection and infection technologies for both lentiviruses and adenoviruses are also available.
